- Educational Information: Academic records, degrees, certifications, and educational background.

We primarily collect your personal information through your direct interactions with our careers platform, including:
- Directly from you when you fill out application forms.
- When you upload documents such as resumes or cover letters.
- Through third-party recruitment platforms or job boards, if you choose to apply through those channels.
The information you provide is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Application Processing: To process your job application and thoroughly evaluate your qualifications, skills, and experience against the requirements of the role.
- Communication: To communicate with you effectively regarding your application status, schedule interviews, and provide updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Recruitment Management: To manage and facilitate all aspects of our recruitment and hiring procedures, including background checks (with your explicit consent where required), interview coordination, and offer management.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements related to employment and data privacy in the Philippines.
- Internal Operations: For internal record-keeping, data analysis, and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment strategies and processes.
We value your privacy and do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your data will only be shared under the following circumstances:
- Legal Obligation: When required by law, court order, or governmental regulations.
- Third-Party Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers (e.g., recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems, background check providers) solely for the purpose of facilitating your application and our recruitment processes. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data with the same level of security and confidentiality that we uphold.
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as well as to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Unsuccessful Applications: If your job application is unsuccessful, your data will be retained for a period of one (1) year from the date of rejection to allow us to reconsider you for future suitable vacancies and for internal analysis, unless you specifically request earlier deletion. After this period, your data will be securely and permanently deleted or anonymized.
Successful Applications (Hired Employees): If you are hired, your personal data will be retained throughout your employment with Araw Hospitality Group and for any additional period mandated by Philippine labor laws and other applicable regulations thereafter.
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights:
- Right to Be Informed: To be notified whether your personal data is being processed, and to be informed of the details of such processing.
- Right to Access: To obtain a copy of your personal data held by us.
- Right to Object: To object to the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing, automated processing, or profiling.
- Right to Rectification: To request the correction of any inaccurate or outdated personal data.
- Right to Erasure or Blocking: To demand the suspension, withdrawal, removal, or destruction of your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: To receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another organization.
- Right to File a Complaint: To file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.
- Right to Seek Damages: To claim damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
